ABOUT US
Director - Kalani Po`omaihealani began his career on stage as a dancer,
branching out into the limelight as a featured vocalist. then into
choreographing and costuming. Having taught hula since the age of 16
and training under the tutelage of Ronald E. Bright in stage and
production he has made a mark in the entertainment field. Bright
instilled in his students handwork and passion. Of the many things he
imparted to students one thing has always remained with Kalani.
“Entertainment is 90% visual and 10% talent.
At Kalaniʻs Taste of Hawai`i, everything is hand made and nothing is
mass produced. Here, we will do our best to stay as authentic as possible
in the different the construction of our Polynesian costumes. Many items may not be sold
anywhere else. i.e. our lei selection. This will hold true of our inventory
as it grows.
Some of the hair clips are in stock however, in the invent we are out of
an item, we will create a sample for your approval. Once approved, your order will be
filled.
